Jackson Ryan is the Science Editor at CNET, where he writes about all the robots we send into space, sci-fi films and frontier scientific research. He completed a PhD at the University of South Australia in Medical Science and has a keen interest in genome editing, CRISPR, spaceship Earth and all of the terrifying phenomena of the infinite cosmos. He drinks a lot of coffee to cope with existential dread.
